History of the University

Farah University is an academic institution at the national level, which began its activities in September 2012 in the Bagh-e-Naw area (the former building of the Department of Agriculture). Of course, the beginning of this university's activities was only with the Faculty of Education, which had two departments with (6) professors and (65) students. Over time, the Faculty of Agriculture, the Faculty of Economics, and the Faculty of Sharia have been added to the formation of Farah University. Currently, Farah University has (4) faculties and (14) departments, with (1201) students currently studying in this educational institution, and they are taught by (60) professors with master's and bachelor's degrees.
