Central Research Committee

Vision

To establish and support an enabling environment for conducting extensive scientific research and to promote a strong research culture at Farah University by encouraging all academic staff members to actively engage in research activities.

Mission

To support the University's research activities by providing opportunities for advanced research, encouraging fundamental, applied, and developmental research conducted by students and faculty members, and sharing policy-oriented research findings with relevant institutions to contribute to the sustainable development and progress of the country.

Committee Overview

The Central Research Committee of Farah University was established in 1401 AH (2022/2023). The Committee currently consists of twelve (12) members, including one Chairperson and eleven members. Committee members are periodically renewed based on institutional needs and their areas of expertise.

According to its annual work plan, the Committee holds one regular meeting each month and convenes additional meetings whenever necessary. It carries out a wide range of research-related activities, closely monitors the research programs of the University's faculties, and continuously works to strengthen and improve research performance across the institution.

About the Scientific Research Journal

The Farah University Scientific Research Journal is recognized as a national academic journal, with Farah University serving as its publisher and owner.

The Journal is published semi-annually (twice a year). Its official publication license is registered under No. RCTD-GNJR-0038-23, and the publication license was officially granted on 15 Sunbula 1403 AH (2024).
